Maths Curriculum
As a school, we follow the White Rose V3 schemes of learning. Teachers follow the medium term planning for this scheme and use the materials provided as a start point for planning. White Rose ensures that each year group’s objectives is broken down into smaller manageable steps to support sequential teaching and learning. It follows a Concrete, Pictorial, Symbolic approach to teaching Mathematics and allows pupils to explore concepts in varied representations to strengthen understanding.
