Applying for a reception class place for September 2025
If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, they will start reception class at the start of the new school year in September 2025.
Applications for admission to our school are administered by Wigan Council. The closing date for primary school applications for September 2025 closed on 15th January 2025. If you wish to make a late application please contact Wigan Council's School Admissions Team- Primary school admissions
Parents will be informed by Wigan Council about offers for Reception places on 15th April 2025.

Reception Intake September 2025
We will extend a warm welcome to the children joining our Reception class in September 2025 and their parents.
The documents below will provide parents with all the basic information they need to prepare for their child starting school in September 2025.

A planned outline of the school's Sept 2025 induction programme is provided below:-
| Early May | Reception Team obtain information about new children from previous preschool settings. |
| Mid May | Welcome letter, Class Dojo login details, Pupil Data Collection Sheet & Consent Form sent to parents. |

Week beginning 23rd June 2025 |
All parents / carers are to attend the school intake meeting. |

Week beginning 7th July 2025 |
Child’s Teacher / Key Worker will be completing home visits. |

Week beginning 14th July 2025 |
Parents and children invited into school to take part in Inspire Sessions. |
Reception Class Open Evening
Each year we will host Open Evenings that will include tours of our beautiful school for anyone interested in joining our September intake Reception classes. Further details will be posted here about any events available to parents.
