CFAT Superheroes before and after school club (operated by platt bridge community school)
Our breakfast and after-school club services are operated directly by the school and school staff. We believe that an extended school is one that provides a range of activities and services, often beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of its pupils, their families, and the wider community. We, therefore, offer our parents and community a before and after-school club that provides a safe and stimulating environment for children beyond the core school day. Opening Times and FeesWe can offer Breakfast & After School childcare for children attending Platt Bridge Community School, between the hours of 7:30am – 8:55am and 3:30pm – 6:00pm. Both clubs will run during the 2021-22 academic year in the Main School Hall and should be accessed via the Cumbrian Close entrance gate and from the main school playground area. For details on the delivery of CFAT Superheroes Before and After School club curriculum and planned activities contact the school office.
Please be aware that numbers will be restricted and operated on a booking service. Pre-Booking is Essential via ParentPay |

Who will look after your child in Before or After School Childcare?
Schools maintain a level of staffing in the breakfast club and after-school club in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
A minimum of two members of staff will be present on-site during the opening hours of the breakfast and after-school clubs.
A member of the school leadership team will always be available each day that the club is open and for its opening hours. Each school has a first aid policy, and a qualified paediatric first aider will also be present on-site at all times. Additionally, our administration of medicines policy is followed by the breakfast and after-school club. When a member of staff is absent, the leadership team will ensure replacement staff are found so adequate ratios of staff to children are maintained at all times.
Holiday club provision during school closures will be operated on a demand-led basis.
For more information on before or after school club services please call the school office on 01942 487999.
