We know there is some speculation online about an announcement regarding schools opening more widely. This is purely speculation and is not based on any authoritative source.
Dear all,
I hope this message finds you all well.
I wanted to let you all know that we have begun planning for the POTENTIAL opening of school more widely as a result of all the recent media speculation.
Please be aware that media announcements change daily and are not currently based on any authoritative sources.
Whilst no confirmed date has yet been set by government, a partial return to school before September has not been ruled out.
We are therefore closely monitoring the situation to keep you updated should the situation change.
I wanted to let you know that irrespective of any announcements we have begun working on a recovery/return plan that introduces lots of measures to keep you, our pupils and community safe.
We are prepared whatever the eventuality.
In the meantime, of any eagerly awaited announcements - we hope that you are able to enjoy the warm bank holiday weekend and VE Day celebrations.
