‘Hands. Face. Space’ - update for parents/carers14 September 2020 (by admin) |
The ‘Hands. Face. Space’ public information campaign urges the public to continue to wash their hands, cover their face and make space to control infection rates and avoid a second peak.
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach winter and inevitably spend more time indoors, we need you to keep following Government advice to help control the spread of the coronavirus.
In school we will all continue to be vigilant of coronavirus symptoms which include a new continuous cough, high temperature, or a loss or change in an individual’s sense of taste or smell.
You may be aware that the Government have recently started a new campaign to help prevent spread of coronavirus indoors this winter.
‘Hands. Face. Space’
This message emphasises the important of remembering to wash your hands regularly, use a face covering when social distancing is not possible (i.e. when collecting or being you child to school) and try to keep your distance from those not in your household. Following these simple steps could make a significant difference in reducing the transmission of COVID-19 and help protect you and your friends, colleagues and family from the virus.
We are therefore recommending parents/carers within our community use a face covering when collecting or dropping your child off at school to help prevent spread of coronavirus.
Best wishes,
Platt Bridge Community School
