From 1 April, thousands of 2-year-olds in England started accessing 15 hours childcare as part of the first phase of the childcare support expansion, so you as a parent can juggle work and life.
From 1 April, thousands of 2-year-olds in England started accessing 15 hours childcare as part of the first phase of the childcare support expansion, so you as a parent can juggle work and life.
- NEW: The 15 hours offer is expanding to include eligible working parents in England with children who turn at least 9 months old on or before 31 August. If you are eligible, you can apply now for up to 15 hours childcare or early education per week, over 38 weeks of the year. Read our FAQs to find out more about applying for the childcare hours.
- If your child turns 3 or 4 on or before 31 August and you are an eligible working parent in England, you can apply for up to 30 hours childcare or early education per week, over 38 weeks of the year.
