As a school we are always looking for fun, innovative ways to promote a love of reading with our pupils. We have decided to take part in 'Look for a Book' which is an enjoyable treasure hunt style scheme growing in popularity across the country.
Our pupils have hidden several books in clear, plastic bags around the local area. Should you and your child find one of the books, they can choose to read the book at home and then re-hide the book in the same or a new place for someone else to discover it.
Should you find one of our books, a card enclosed inside will explain the process to you. It would be great if you could tweet a photograph of your child finding the book to @CFAT_NEWS with the hastag #lookforabook
We would love your support with this exciting scheme. We are sure that children will enjoy hunting for the books and also the opportunity to read and explore many more stories!
